Chromatic Reverie

Isabelle Voss

In her most ambitious body of work to date, Berlin-based painter Isabelle Voss presents forty large-scale canvases that interrogate the relationship between color, memory, and emotional landscape. Working with layers of translucent pigment applied over months, each piece accumulates time as a visible material.

Voss invites viewers to inhabit a chromatic world where the boundary between abstraction and sensation dissolves — where blue becomes grief, ochre becomes nostalgia, and crimson becomes joy uncontained.

A Gallery
Built on
Belief

Founded in 2008 by curator and collector Diane Kessler, MERIDIAN GALLERY was born from a singular conviction: that great art is not merely decorative — it is the clearest mirror we have of what it means to be alive in a particular moment.

Over eighteen years, we have grown from a single room on Rue du Temple to a 4,000 square meter complex spanning three interconnected buildings. Through this growth, our mission has remained unchanged: to identify and champion artists who take genuine risks, and to connect their work with collectors and institutions who share our belief in art's transformative capacity.

We represent forty-three artists across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and new media — from emerging voices to internationally recognized figures shown at MoMA, Tate Modern, and the Venice Biennale.

I.
Curatorial Integrity
Every exhibition begins with a question, not an answer. We curate from intellectual curiosity.
II.
Artist-First
Long-term relationships with our artists. We invest in careers, not transactions.
III.
Global Vision
Forty-three artists across twenty-two countries. Art has no borders.
IV.
Collector Support
Advisory services, collection building, and installation — we are with you throughout.
