The Game. The Ground. The Brotherhood.
Heritage Grounds
Our grounds have hosted county cricketers, touring sides, and The Ashes preparatory matches since 1891. Each pitch tells a story.
Season 2026
The Pavilion
Constructed in 1891 and sympathetically restored in 2008, the Grade II listed pavilion houses our long room, members' library, Michelin-recognised dining room, and a private bar stocked exclusively with single-estate bottles.
The Long Room overlooks the Pavilion Ground directly — so every luncheon is accompanied by the sound of leather on willow.
Membership
Three membership categories. All require nomination by two existing members and endorsement by the Committee. Annual intake of no more than twelve new members.
The Academy
Since 1968, The Crease Academy has produced three England Test cricketers and over forty county professionals. Our coaching faculty comprises former Test players committed to the classical traditions of the game.
Limited Membership
The Crease admits no more than twelve new members in any calendar year. If you believe you share our values — for the game, for the land, and for the brotherhood — we invite you to enquire.
