Where Land Meets the Infinite Sea
A historic 1887 lighthouse sentinel, now transformed into an intimate eight-room coastal retreat. Maritime tradition meets curated luxury on the Atlantic shore.
Three guiding principles shaped by generations of maritime life — authenticity, reverence, and the enduring beauty of the sea.
Every timber, every brass fitting, every wave-worn stone tells the story of those who kept the light burning. We preserve this heritage with devotion and meticulous care.
The Atlantic is not merely a backdrop — it is our living companion. Our rhythms follow the tides, our menus honor the harvest, our architecture frames every horizon.
Only eight rooms. Only the sound of waves and wind. We believe luxury is not excess but absence — the quiet space for the sea to speak and the soul to rest.
Eight distinct maritime sanctuaries, from the historic lantern room at the apex to the fog-kissed tide suites below.
Perched at the lighthouse's historic captain level, this expansive suite commands a full 180-degree panorama of the Atlantic. Original brass instruments, chart-table writing desk, and a private wraparound deck where the morning mist rises from the sea.
From arrival by coastal road to departure with salt in your hair and sea in your heart — every moment is curated.
The lighthouse appears on the horizon long before you reach us. Our keeper greets you at the maritime gate with a sea-glass welcome.
Each room is introduced with a historical story of its namesake keeper, paired with aged maritime charts of your window's exact view.
The Keeper's Table presents daily ocean harvest menus, paired with coastal wines and illuminated by the original Fresnel lens overhead.
Depart with a hand-wrapped package of locally harvested sea salt and a tide chart for your window's view — a piece of the sea to carry home.
Built in 1887 to guide Atlantic merchantmen through treacherous coastal shoals, the Meridian Light guided over four generations of keepers. Each left their mark — in the worn timber of the stairs, the names carved into the lamp room beams, and the stories that live on in every room.
In 2018, the Meridian family opened the lighthouse as an intimate inn, restoring every original element while adding the quiet comforts of a world-class coastal retreat.
With only eight rooms, MERIDIAN remains intentionally intimate. We invite you to secure your stay and let us craft a bespoke maritime experience in your honor.
