For millennia, the Crocus sativus flower has yielded its precious crimson threads at dawn. We honor this tradition with uncompromising dedication to purity and heritage.
Each flower opens for a single morning. Our harvesters begin before sunrise, picking crocus blooms by hand in the cool October air to preserve the delicate stigmas.
Three crimson threads from each flower are gently separated by skilled hands. No machine can replicate the precision and care required to preserve the full aromatic profile.
Freshly separated stigmas are dried over low heat in traditional kilns. This ancient method concentrates the safranal and crocin compounds that define exceptional saffron.

"The soil of Khorasan holds a secret that turns a humble purple flower into the world's most valuable spice."
Our estate spans 120 hectares in the Gonabad district of South Khorasan — the same region that has produced the finest saffron since ancient Persia. The high altitude, dry summers, and cold winters create the ideal conditions for saffron cultivation that cannot be replicated anywhere else on Earth.
Five precise stages transform the crocus flower into the world's most prized spice.
Corms are planted by hand in late summer. Each bulb is placed at the correct depth and spacing to ensure optimal flowering the following October.
For two weeks each October, the purple crocus blooms open in the morning light. The harvest window is brief — each flower lasts just one day.
Harvesters begin at 5am, picking flowers before they fully open. Speed is essential — the longer stigmas are exposed to sunlight, the more the aroma diminishes.
Fresh flowers are brought inside immediately. Women with nimble fingers separate the three crimson stigmas from each bloom — 70,000 flowers yield just one kilogram.
Dried threads are graded against ISO 3632 standards. Only threads scoring above 270 coloring strength are designated Super Negin — our finest grade.
From the courts of the Achaemenid Empire to the modern table, saffron has been the defining ingredient of Persian civilization — a currency, a medicine, a sacred offering.
