Terra Forma Studio
Studio ceramics rooted in ancient earth. Each vessel thrown, fired, and glazed by hand in our wood kiln — objects that carry the memory of their making.
Terra Forma began with a single question: what does it mean for an object to carry the story of its own creation? Our studio practice is rooted in the ancient dialogue between maker and material — between the human hand and the yielding earth.
"We do not make objects. We discover them within the clay — patient hands revealing what fire will complete."
Every piece that leaves our studio has passed through fire twice, each firing a negotiation with chance and chemistry. We source our stoneware and porcelain clays from local quarries, blending our own clay bodies for each series.
From intimate functional pieces to large-scale sculptural installations, we welcome enquiries for bespoke commissions. Each commission begins with a studio conversation.
Handmade tableware, vessels, and objects for daily use — made to be touched, to hold liquids, to bear the marks of meals and conversations.
EnquireOne-of-a-kind sculptural pieces for private collections, galleries, and architectural spaces. Each work is a unique negotiation with form and material.
EnquireLarge-scale ceramic work for hospitality, residential, and cultural spaces. We collaborate with architects and interior designers from concept to installation.
EnquireWe blend our clay bodies from locally sourced materials — stoneware, porcelain, and ball clay — each recipe developed for its final use.
On the wheel or by hand, each piece takes form through patient dialogue between intention and the natural tendency of clay.
The first firing at 1000°C transforms raw clay into ceramic — porous, fragile, ready to receive glaze and the chemistry of heat.
We mix our own glazes from raw minerals — feldspar, silica, whiting, iron oxide — building layers that will melt and move in the kiln.
The high fire — stoneware at 1280°C — where chemistry completes what intention began. What emerges from the kiln is always a negotiation with chance.
