Qarmid was conceived to answer a single question: what would an oasis look like if it were designed for the most discerning traveller alive? The answer — 24 private villas, each facing a different compass point of the desert, each with its own infinity pool fed by an ancient underground spring.

We are located 80km from Zagora in southern Morocco, accessible only by private 4x4 or our own helicopter transfer from Marrakech. The isolation is intentional. The stillness is the point.

No two villas share a line of sight. No communal dining rooms. No lobby. No other guests unless you choose to meet them. Qarmid is yours and yours alone.

Desert First

Every design decision defers to the landscape. Rammed earth walls, local stone, date palm timber, local artisan textiles. Nothing shipped from outside Morocco.

Uncurated Stillness

We do not programme your stay. There are no scheduled activities, no wellness itineraries. You may do nothing for five days, and we will celebrate that choice.
