What are the best seasons to visit Summit Lodge?

Summit Lodge is a year-round destination. Winter (December through March) offers world-class skiing, snowboarding, and festive celebrations. Summer (June through September) transforms the landscape into lush alpine meadows perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and wildflower tours. Each season brings its own unique magic, and many guests return throughout the year to experience both.

What amenities and facilities are available?

Our resort features a full-service spa with sauna, steam room, and heated outdoor pool overlooking the Alps. We offer a Michelin-starred restaurant, a casual alpine bistro, a wine cellar with over 800 labels, a fitness center, children's club, ski equipment rental, a cinema room, and a library lounge. All accommodations include high-speed Wi-Fi, premium toiletries, and daily housekeeping.

How close is the resort to ski lifts and slopes?

Summit Lodge offers true ski-in/ski-out access for our Premium Chalet and Grand Estate guests. The nearest gondola station is just a 2-minute walk from the main lodge. We are connected to over 300 kilometers of groomed runs suitable for all levels. Our in-house ski concierge can arrange private lessons, off-piste guides, heli-skiing, and equipment fittings.

Dining at Summit Lodge is an experience in itself. Our flagship restaurant, Gipfel, holds one Michelin star and serves contemporary Alpine cuisine using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The Chalet Bistro offers hearty mountain fare from fondue to raclette in a cozy setting. Private dining can be arranged in your suite, at a mountain-top table, or in our wine cellar. We accommodate all dietary requirements with advance notice.

What transfer options are available from the airport?

We offer luxury private transfers from Zurich Airport (approximately 2.5 hours), Geneva Airport (approximately 3 hours), and local Sion Airport (45 minutes). For the ultimate arrival, we can arrange a private helicopter transfer directly to our helipad, reducing travel time to under 30 minutes from major airports. All transfers can be booked through our concierge during the reservation process, and Grand Estate guests enjoy complimentary helicopter transfers.
