Frequently Asked

Everything you need to know about commissioning your first bespoke garment.

How long does a bespoke suit take to complete?

+
A standard two-piece bespoke suit requires 6 to 8 weeks from first consultation to final delivery. This includes two to three fittings. Three-piece suits and overcoats may take 8 to 10 weeks. For time-sensitive occasions, we offer an expedited service with a 4-week turnaround at a premium. We recommend planning well in advance for weddings and events.

How many fittings are required?

+
We typically schedule two fittings: a baste fitting where the garment is loosely assembled and a forward fitting with refined adjustments. Particularly complex garments or first-time clients may benefit from a third fitting. Each appointment lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes. For international clients, we can arrange a single extended fitting session with our traveling tailors.

What is the difference between bespoke and made-to-measure?

+
True bespoke means every element is created from scratch for you alone. We draft a unique paper pattern based on your body measurements, hand-cut the fabric, and construct the garment with a full canvas interlining — all by hand. Made-to-measure starts from pre-existing patterns and adjusts them to your measurements. The result of bespoke is a garment that fits like nothing else can.

Do you offer alterations on existing garments?

+
Yes, we provide expert alteration services for high-quality garments. Our tailors can adjust fit, restyle lapels, replace linings, and make structural modifications. We also offer a wardrobe consultation service where we assess your existing collection and recommend updates. Please book an appointment so we can evaluate each piece individually.

Can I choose my own fabric from outside your selection?

+
While we maintain an extensive library of over 4,000 fabrics from the world's finest mills, we are happy to source specific cloths upon request. If you have a particular mill, weave, or pattern in mind, let us know during your consultation and we will do our best to procure it. We can also guide you through vintage and heritage fabrics from our archive collection.
