Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Coffee

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe

Grown at 1,800-2,200m altitude in the birthplace of coffee. Our Ethiopian beans deliver an extraordinary complexity — bright citrus acidity, jasmine florals, and a silky tea-like body. Washed processing highlights the bean's natural clarity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our specialty coffee, services, and how to get started.

What makes specialty coffee different from regular coffee?

+
Specialty coffee scores 80+ points on the SCA scale. Unlike commodity coffee, our beans are traceable to specific farms, harvested at peak ripeness, and carefully processed. We roast in small batches within 48 hours of shipping to ensure maximum freshness and flavor complexity.

How should I store my coffee beans?

+
Keep beans in an airtight container at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Never refrigerate or freeze opened bags. Whole beans stay fresh for 2-4 weeks post-roast. For best results, grind immediately before brewing. Our bags feature one-way valves to release CO2 while keeping air out.

Can I visit the roastery?

+
Absolutely! Our tasting room is open during business hours. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking a guided tour or cupping session for the full experience. Group tastings for 4-12 people can be scheduled in advance.

How does the subscription work?

+
Choose your frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), preferred roast profile (light, medium, or dark), and grind size. We'll select the freshest seasonal beans for you. Skip, pause, or cancel anytime. Subscribers save 15% and get early access to limited releases.

Do you offer wholesale for cafes?

+
Yes, we partner with cafes, restaurants, and offices. Our wholesale program includes custom blend development, barista training, equipment consultation, and flexible delivery schedules. Contact us for pricing based on your volume needs.

What brewing method do you recommend for beginners?

+
We suggest starting with a pour-over (V60 or Kalita Wave). It's forgiving, produces clean and clear flavors, and teaches you the fundamentals of extraction. Use a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio, 200°F water, and a medium-fine grind. Our free brewing guide is available in-store.
