What exactly is glamping?

Glamping, or "glamorous camping," combines the immersive beauty of camping in nature with the comfort and amenities of a luxury hotel. At Terra Haven, this means sleeping in beautifully designed tents with real beds, en-suite bathrooms, electricity, heating, and gourmet dining — all while surrounded by pristine wilderness. You get the stars above and a plush duvet below.

What is included in the stay?

Every stay includes your luxury tent accommodation, a full gourmet breakfast each morning, access to all nature trails, complimentary use of bicycles and kayaks, evening bonfire with s'mores, premium linens and toiletries, Wi-Fi in common areas, and a welcome basket with local artisan treats. Experiences like guided hikes, stargazing sessions, and cooking classes can be booked additionally.

Can I bring my pets?

We love furry friends! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our Safari Suite and Forest Lodge accommodations for a small additional fee of $50 per night. We provide dog beds, water bowls, and treat bags upon arrival. We do ask that pets be kept on leash in common areas to protect our local wildlife. The Treehouse Retreat and Stargazer Dome are pet-free zones for allergy-sensitive guests.

What is your weather and cancellation policy?

Our tents are designed to be comfortable in all seasons with insulation, heating, and weather-proof construction. Light rain makes glamping even cozier! In the rare event of severe weather (heavy storms, dangerous winds), we offer complimentary rescheduling or a full refund. Standard cancellations receive a full refund up to 14 days before arrival, and a 50% refund up to 7 days before. We believe nature is beautiful in every season.

What activities are available on-site?

Terra Haven offers a rich array of activities: guided nature hikes with expert naturalists, stargazing sessions with telescopes, farm-to-table cooking classes, yoga at sunrise, kayaking on the lake, mountain biking, bird watching workshops, archery, campfire storytelling evenings, and seasonal foraging walks. We also have a spa tent offering massages and wellness treatments. There is truly something for everyone, whether you seek adventure or relaxation.
