At SÈVE, we believe fragrance is the most intimate form of self-expression. Each composition is a narrative — a map of emotions, places, and memories distilled into something eternal.
We source only from trusted growers who share our obsession with purity. Oud from Assam, rose absolute from Grasse, ambergris aged for decades — materiality is our foundation.
Great fragrance cannot be rushed. Our macerations age in silence for months. Our perfumers iterate across seasons until the composition reveals its true character.
Every bespoke commission begins with a deep consultation — your childhood landscapes, your most vivid memories, your aspirational self — transformed into a scent that is irrevocably yours.

Nestled in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, our atelier is a sanctuary of concentration and craft. Twenty-two perfumers work in silence among hundreds of raw materials — each one catalogued, tested, and understood intimately before it touches a composition.
The space itself is designed to eliminate distraction: natural stone, diffused northern light, and an air kept at a precise 18°C to preserve the integrity of volatile compounds. Here, time is the most important tool.

Our master perfumer selects from over 340 curated ingredients. Each material is evaluated fresh and aged — understanding how time changes its character is essential to lasting compositions.
Three to five preliminary accords are developed, aged for a minimum of eight weeks, and evaluated across morning, midday, and evening — fragrance behaves differently in different light.
You return to evaluate the accords on your skin. Your feedback — however intuitive — guides successive refinements. This dialogue can span several months until the composition is undeniably right.
Your fragrance is macerated for a final 12 weeks before filtration and cold-pressing into hand-blown glass vessels. A sealed certificate of exclusivity accompanies each commission. The formula remains yours alone.
Eloise Marchais opens the first SÈVE atelier on Rue de Buci, working with four perfumers and a curated palette of 60 materials.
