Five questions before we touch foam

Every board starts as a conversation. We do not make shapes from size charts. We make shapes from wave knowledge — yours and ours combined.

Question 01
Where do you surf more than anywhere else?
Your home break determines the template. Beach break needs foam volume for unpredictable lips. Point break rewards narrow tails and drawn-out rails.
Question 02
What does your worst session feel like?
More useful than your best session. The limitations your current board imposes tell us exactly where we need to build different.
Question 03
Which boards have you loved? Which have you hated?
Loved boards reveal your instincts. Hated boards reveal your style — what your body wants to do that bad design prevented.
Question 04
How do you surf when no one is watching?
Pure surf style, no performance anxiety. We design for the surfer you are, not the surfer you think you should be.
Question 05
What do you want to feel on the wave?
Speed, projection, control, looseness, connection — every surfer weighs these differently. This answer sets the design priority hierarchy.

Shortboard
Beach Break · Reef Break
Performance template. Rocker for projected turns, concave entry for speed generation, narrow swallow or round-pin tail for hold in critical sections.
5'8" – 6'4" · Thruster or Quad
Fish
Small Wave · Point Break
Wide nose, flat rocker, swallowtail. Generates speed where other boards stall. Twin or quad — the fish is the great equaliser of small, gutless surf.
5'4" – 6'0" · Twin or Quad
Longboard
Point Break · Mellow Reef
Flow over speed. Nose riding, cross-stepping, trimming at rail angle. The longboard is the most difficult shape to get right — and the most rewarding when correct.
9'0" – 10'0" · Single or 2+1
Mid-Length
All Conditions
The most versatile shape in the Pellucid range. Enough foam for small days, enough rail to hold in overhead surf. The board for surfers who want one quiver.
7'0" – 8'6" · 2+1 or Thruster
Step-Up
Overhead+ · Open Ocean Swell
For days when your shortboard feels small. More volume in the right places, pulled-in pintail for hold in powerful conditions, increased tail rocker for steep drops.
6'4" – 7'2" · Thruster

Three materials. Three entirely different rides.

PU foam material
Material 01
PU / Polyester
Traditional — Standard Lead Time
Polyurethane foam with polyester resin. The classical combination. Heavier than EPS, more flexible under stress. The material that defined the modern shortboard era — responsive, tactile, familiar.
Flex · Responsiveness · Tradition
EPS epoxy material
Material 02
EPS / Epoxy
Modern — Standard Lead Time
Expanded polystyrene with epoxy resin. Lighter, stiffer, more buoyant than PU. Ideal for performance shapes requiring speed without sacrificing paddle power. The choice for warm water and small surf.
Lightness · Speed · Buoyancy
Balsa wood material
Material 03
Balsa Wood
Heritage — Extended Lead Time
Hand-planed paulownia or balsa core. The most time-intensive build in the range. A board that responds to the ocean with organic sensitivity — flex patterns that cannot be replicated in foam and resin.
